Runway Occupancy Awareness (ROA)
Analyzes ADS-B traffic and GPS data to detect potential runway incursions by aircraft or ground vehicles. Provides aural and visual alerts — including highlighting the relevant runway and traffic target on synthetic vision and SafeTaxi diagrams.
SurfaceWatch™ Technology
Optional runway monitoring technology provides visual and aural cues to help you avoid taking off or landing on a taxiway, on a runway that's too short, or on the wrong runway.
Smart Glide™ Emergency System
A single touch of the EMER button on the bezel activates Smart Glide — it finds a suitable airport after engine failure and can even fly you there with a compatible autopilot at best glide speed. Automatically loads the CTAF frequency and provides a shortcut for 7700 squawk.

Available Now — Certified & Experimental
The first AXIS versions are available now on the Approved Model List STC for hundreds of Part 23 Class I/II aircraft. Certified (TSO) and experimental versions are both available. An 8-inch single-screen configuration is planned for early 2027.
